The New Hampshire Housing and Community Development Planning Council is developing the 2010 Action Plan for the State of New Hampshire. The Action Plan establishes the priorities for use of HOME, Community Development Block Grant, and Emergency Shelter Grant funds received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and describes the method of distribution of these funds in 2010. The Council and the three agencies administering the state grants, (New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority, New Hampshire Housing, and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Homeless, Housing, and Transportation Services) are soliciting comments on the Draft 2010 Action Plan. The Draft Action Plan will be available for download at www.nhhfa.org/frd_conplan.htm by September 17, 2009. Printed copies are available upon request to members of the general public lacking internet access.
The Public Hearing will be held on the following date:
Tuesday, September 29, 2009 - Board Room, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, 32 Constitution Drive, Bedford, NH from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
In addition to the general public, agencies are encouraged to invite clients and beneficiaries to participate in the public hearing and to comment on the Draft 2010 Action Plan. Written comments may be submitted in addition to or in place of oral comments throughout the public comment period of September 17, 2009 through October 16, 2009. Comments may also be emailed to comments@nhhfa.org.
