The New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) is developing the CDBG-R Action Plan Substantial Amendment in anticipation of additional funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Action Plan Amendment establishes the priorities for use of the Community Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R) funds received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and describes the method of distribution of these funds in 2009.
CDFA will be soliciting comments on the Draft CDBG-R Action Plan Substantial Amendment. The Draft CDBG-R Substantial Amendment to the 2008 Action Plan will be available for download at http://www.nhcdfa.org by May 22, 2009. Printed copies will be available upon request to members of the general public lacking internet access.
The Public Hearing will be held on the following date:
Tuesday, May 26, 2009 - Merrimack and Pemi Rooms, New Hampshire Local Government Center, 25 Triangle Drive, Concord, NH from 2:00 to 4:00 pm
In addition to the general public, agencies are encouraged to invite clients and beneficiaries to participate in the public hearing and to comment on the CDBG-R Action Plan Substantial Amendment. Written comments may be submitted in addition to or in place of oral comments throughout the public comment period of May 22, 2009 through June 2, 2009. Comments may also be emailed to gparadise@nhcdfa.org.
