Learn how to reduce municipal energy costs.
CONCORD, NH - The New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) will present a Municipal Energy Reduction Fund Workshop on Wednesday, July 28th at the Local Government Center in Concord. Two sessions will be offered: 1-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
Workshop participants will learn how to reduce their town’s heating and electric costs, finance these improvements, and get town meeting approval. In addition, sample approval documents will be provided.
CDFA receives funding for the Municipal Energy Reduction Fund from the Public Utilities Commission’s Green House Gas Emissions Reduction Fund. These funds provide low-interest loans to municipalities for energy efficiency upgrades, retrofits and renovations to municipal buildings. Loan funds are available to all New Hampshire municipalities.
