CDFA Neighborhood Stabilization Program Action Plan Title

For New Hampshire to receive the Neighborhood Stabilization Funds it, along with all of the other states, had to submit a comprehensive plan – Action Plan – to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by December 1, 2008. New Hampshire’s Action Plan, which was submitted on November 25, 2008 to HUD, provides the details of how the program will work in the granite state, e.g. who can apply, how the applications will be evaluated, how projects will be funded, what data will be collected, etc. New Hampshire’s plan was drafted by a broad coalition of community representatives.

HUD has agreed to approve state’s plans by mid-February 2009. Once approved, CDFA will have 18-months to disperse the funds. Successful applicants will then have four years to complete their projects.
