CDFA will be accepting applications for nonprofit entities for funding through our Tax Credit Program after attendance at one of the all-inclusive Application Writing Workshops to be held in March. CDFA will award approximately $6 Million in New Hampshire State Tax Credits to help fund affordable housing, community and economic development projects that benefit low- and moderate-income communities and people in New Hampshire.
Potential applicants are strongly recommended to attend one of the Application Writing Workshops March 11 in Littleton or March 23 in Concord. The morning session will include and overview of the program, application requirements, and an introduction to CDA’s online electronic Grants Management System. The afternoon session will give potential applicants the opportunity to meet with CDFA staff to discuss their projects, to get advice on the appropriateness of the project for Tax Credit funding, and to assess the organization’s capacity to conduct the fundraising necessary for the project’s success. Pre-registration is required. Click here for more information and to register for a workshop.
The deadline to apply for Tax Credit Program funding is Friday, May 21, 2010. Attendance at an Application Workshop is strongly recommended before submitting an application. The CDFA Board of Directors expects to make funding decisions at its meeting in July. Assistance may be in the form of a grant, loan, credit enhancement, equity investment, or some combination.
